Society Gals won't you come out tonight?

As some of you may remember, several weeks ago the illustrious Beth Jones, the über-stylish force behind The Vintage Society, invited me to take part in this awesome project. Well, the project has now come to full fruition, and Beth is celebrating the launch of her new website today, Saturday the 21st, with a party at SiteLA. I wish upon wish I could attend, but as I am stuck on the other side of the country, it's up to you, my friends, to live the dream for me. Check out her blog for the deets, as well as photos of myself and several other amazing ladies from around the globe in our Quiksilver stripey shirt!

that's awesome! I was looking at the project's site, and I found this picture... they squeeshed you down a little bit and you look, well, wider than usual. :)

Please tell me those last two "comments deleted by the author" involved similarly failed attempts at finding a "delicate" way to tell me I LOOK FAT?

KIDDING! Well, not really, but at least everyone looks fat in those photos. NOW GIVE ME STEAK SANDWICHES.

This is a non sequitor to your post, but you mentioned it's your birthday today previously, so Happy Bidet! It is mine as well. Some fun facts about June 22nd: FDR signed the GI bill of rights today, the birthdays of Billy Wilder ("Some like it Hot" director), and Joseph Papp (founder of Shakespeare in the Park) are today, and the Nome River Raft Race in Alaska starts today (homemade river rafts, oh my!).

christine--happy birthday to us! And Billy and Joe of course...

lydia--thank you! I think maybe my favorite is Francesca, but that's just because I've always wanted to be a classy sixties type gal, but never quite made it. But it's an awfully tough call!

esme--pay no attention to ol' spiffae up there anyhoo, he's just jealous cuz he wants a cool fashion blog like me (he told me so at my birthday bbq...which he threw!)

and Mary, haaay! I will indeed, I will indeed...
